- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon white granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon table salt or sea salt
- 2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flakes, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, milk, and egg until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and gently fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
