Instructions

  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Mix until fully incorporated.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture until combined.
  5. Fold in the toffee bits, distributing evenly.
  6. Scoop dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 9 to 11 minutes, until edges are golden.
  8. Let cookies cool completely on a wire rack.
  9. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and dip each cooled cookie halfway.
  10. Place dipped cookies on parchment until the chocolate sets.
