A delicious and easy dessert combining cherry pie filling, crushed pineapple, and a buttery cake layer.

- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 box (15 oz) yellow cake mix
- 3/4 cup salted butter, sliced or melted
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Add crushed pineapple with its juice on top of the cherries and gently spread without mixing.
- Sprinkle dry yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit layer.
- Place thin slices of butter (or drizzle melted butter) over the entire surface of the cake mix.
- If using chopped pecans, sprinkle them evenly across the top.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes until the top is golden and edges are bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving warm.
