- 1 package pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup diced jalapeños
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup pizza sauce for serving
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness. Cut it into squares, roughly 3 inches by 3 inches.
- In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, diced jalapeños, and Italian seasoning until well combined.
- Place a tablespoon of the cheese mixture in the center of each dough square. Fold the corners over the filling to create a pocket, pinching the edges to seal completely.
- Place the pizza bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with olive oil for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bites are golden brown and puffed up.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping!
Notes
- For a spicier version, add extra jalapeños or use pepper jack cheese.
- Can be made ahead and frozen; just bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the cooking time.
