Decadent cupcakes made with Nutella for a deliciously rich flavor.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup whole milk (or plant-based alternative)
- 1/2 cup Nutella (smooth and spreadable)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat melted butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually combine wet and dry mixtures, alternating with milk, without overmixing.
- Gently fold in Nutella for a marbled effect.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full; bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cooling completely before frosting or serving.
Notes
- For a different flavor, try adding chocolate chips or nuts.
