- 1 bag frozen French fries
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 to 2 tsp cajun seasoning
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bake frozen French fries on a foil lined baking sheet at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy. Tip: spread fries evenly for best texture.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter then slowly whisk in 1 cup heavy cream. Tip: avoid boiling to prevent separation.
- Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella gradually, whisking until smooth then season with garlic powder, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Tip: adjust spice slowly.
- Transfer hot fries to a serving dish and immediately drizzle warm cheese sauce evenly over the top.
- Serve right away while hot and garnish with extra cajun seasoning if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add more cajun seasoning as desired.
