Description

Delicious and cheesy Cajun French fries topped with a creamy cheese sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 to 2 tsp cajun seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bake frozen French fries on a foil lined baking sheet at 425°F for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy. Tip: spread fries evenly for best texture.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt 2 tbsp butter then slowly whisk in 1 cup heavy cream. Tip: avoid boiling to prevent separation.
  3. Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella gradually, whisking until smooth then season with garlic powder, cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Tip: adjust spice slowly.
  4. Transfer hot fries to a serving dish and immediately drizzle warm cheese sauce evenly over the top.
  5. Serve right away while hot and garnish with extra cajun seasoning if desired.
